CARROLLTON, GA – The Thomas University Women's Track and Field team competed at the Legends Meet at the University of West Georgia on Saturday. This is the second annual Legend's invitational for UWG, as the meet was created in honor of legends who have surrounded the program for nearly 40 years. One Night Hawk was able to earn her fourth consecutive school record.
Sophomore Victoria Richards competed in the 800 meters, notching a new school and personal record of 2:46.73. Additionally, the Fairfield, ME native ran in the 1500 meter notching a new school and personal record of 5:33.68 for an eighth-place finish. Richards' two new school records mark her fourth consecutive time rewriting her name in the program's history book.
Senior Jennifer Coleman picked up a top-ten finish in the Javelin Throw with a mark of 25.52 for a ninth-place finish. The Thomasville, Ga native also competed in the Shot Put for an eleventh-place finish (11.25 meters) and Hammer Throw (13th; 34.33 meters).
