Ticket Refund Policy

THOMAS UNIVERSITY ATHLETICS REFUND POLICY

Refunds, Exchanges & Reissues
Please be advised refunds or exchanges for purchases will only be issued for extenuating circumstances. It is a fan's responsibility to carefully review all aspects of the event including event restrictions, dates, times, locations, pricing, fees and seat selection. Refunds will not be issued for any lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged tickets. Tickets can be reissued with a new barcode 24 hours in advance of an event. A proof of purchase (providing a confirmation number or a receipt) from the original purchaser is required to reissue tickets.

The policy is subject to changes and updates as information becomes available. The staff is also understanding of the fact that there are unique and special circumstances. Canceled or Postponed Events
If a contest is canceled or rescheduled prior to the start of the contest due to an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of Thomas Universiy Athletics such as inclement weather, natural disaster, or loss of power ticket holders will be issued a ticket to the rescheduled context or offered the option to exchange the original ticket for a ticket to a future regular season game, subject to availability. Ticket holders may exchange their ticket with the Thomas Athletics Ticket Office during normal business hours via email. Ticket holder must have a confirmation number, original printed ticket or a receipt to the canceled game in order to exchange. No refunds will be given.
 
Once an event begins no refunds will be given.
 

Season Tickets 
Unaltered Seasons
If a season is unaltered in its entirety, without any canceled or rescheduled contests, the prevailing ticket refund policy will remain in effect. Special accommodations will be considered upon request.

Delayed Seasons
For any delayed seasons, once the schedules are announced, athletics will offer a timeframe in which fans can request an account credit or refund (less fees) for any season tickets purchased. Fans selecting an account credit may utilize credits for single-game ticket purchases for the current season or apply the money towards their ticket accounts. Requests for refunds must be completed in the outlined timeframe or an account credits will be administered. Refunds will be administered in the same manner they were received. 
 
Shortened Seasons
Fans will have the option to receive an account credit (with the choice to utilize credits on single game ticket purchases for the current season or to apply the money towards their ticket accounts) or request a refund (less fees).Cancelled Seasons
For any ticketed sport with a canceled season, fans will have the option to apply their payment to to future events or request a refund (less fees).
 
Single Game Tickets
Unaltered Seasons

For any delayed seasons, once the new schedule is announced, athletics will offer a timeframe in which fans may contact the ticket office to select tickets to a different game, receive an account credit or request a refund (less fees). Requests for refunds must be completed in the outlined timeframe or an account credits will be administered. Refunds will be administered in the same manner they were received. 
 
Shortened Seasons
If a season is shortened and a single-game ticket was purchased for a canceled or unscheduled contest, fans will have the option to select tickets to a different game.
 
Canceled Seasons
For any ticketed sport with a canceled season, fans will have the option to receive an account credit or request a refund (less fees).
 
 
DEFINITIONS
Unaltered Season: a season that competes the previously announced number of contests in the traditionally schedules time frame, without any delays or cancelations. Example: Men's basketball tips off the season in October 2023 and hosts 10-15 home games.
 
Delayed Season: a season that starts at a different time than previously announced but is still played with the original number of contests and no cancelations. Example: Football still competes in four home games but the season is played in the Spring of 2024. Or, basketball does not begin competition until January 2024 extending into March or April 2024 but still hosts the anticipated number of home games.
 
Shortened Season: a season in which the team still competes during the traditional timeframe but the number of contests is less than the previously announced or anticipated schedule. Or a season that begins competition but contests are canceled prior to the completion of the originally announced schedule. Example: Women's basketball begins their season in October 2023 but is forced to cancel all games after January 2024.
 
Canceled Season: a season that in which none of the previously announced number of contests or anticipated contests are played. Example: Football and basketball do not compete during the 2023-24 academic year.
