MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Sidni Daniel of Brewton-Parker (Ga.) was named SSAC Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week and Mya McRae of Thomas (Ga.) was named SSAC Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.
 
The awards are based on performance for the week of March 3-9.
 
Sidni Daniel (Brewton-Parker – FR)

• This is her first-career outdoor honor 
• Daniel finished 2^nd out of 29 athletes in the 100m at the John Hunter James Classic
• She clocked in at 12.17
   

Mya McRae (Thomas – FR – Canton, Ga.)

• This is her first-career outdoor honor
• McRae won the long jump (5.54m) at the Embry-Riddle Eagle Invite
• She finished 4^th in the triple jump (10.43m)
