THOMASVILLE,GA. – The SUN Conference announced Monday that Freshman ilaClare Whitlock was named Female Outdoor Athlete of the Week.  

Whitlock showed a big improvement in her 800 meter time this past weekend at the Berry Field Invitational hosted by Berry College. The Newnan, Ga native was able to notch a new personal record and break a two year old school record time of 2:51.18.

The Night Hawks will have a big week of practice this week as they prepare for the SUN Conference Outdoor Championships on April 23rd-24th in Miramar, Fla.
