THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Sun Conference announced Monday afternoon that Junior
Jana Pastorek has been name the Offensive Player of the Week.
Pastorek had a career weekend, playing a role in all five team goals scored. Against NCAA DII Shorter on Friday, Pastorek completed her first, collegiate hat trick. Of her three goals, two were unassisted as a result of direct turnovers. The German continued her stellar play Sunday against Point, picking up two assists that contributed to a 2-0 win over the Skyhawks.
With the conference award, Pastorek will represent the SUN Conference's nomination for the NAIA National Player of the Week.
Thomas is back on the pitch Wednesday to host RV Middle Georgia State with a 1 p.m. kickoff fixture.
