THOMASVILLE, GA-  On Monday afternoon the SUN Conference announced that Thomas University junior Hannah Keene was named the Defensive Player of the Week.

The Vidalia, Ga native played a significant role in the Night Hawks' defense last week, as the team took a huge win against #24 Georgia Gwinnett. The field player stepped up big time playing in goal registering a shutout with a total of six saves.

The win marked Thomas' first defeat over a ranked opponent this season.
