THOMASVILLE, Ga.–  The Sun Conference announced Monday that Sophomore Jennifer Coleman was named Female Field Athlete of the Week. 

Coleman had a very strong performance in three of four events this past weekend at the TCC Final Fling Meet. The Thomasville, Georgia native recorded a new school and personal record in the Discus Throw by 11ft, throwing a measurement of (38.12 meters). Coleman also notched a new school and personal record in the Hammer Throw by 25ft, with a measurement of (29.68 meters). She also broke a new school and personal record in the Javelin throw by 11ft, with a measurement of (26.88 meters).

This is Coleman's first TSC weekly award (outdoor) of the season and the first of her career (outdoor).

The Night Hawks will travel to Bradenton, Florida this weekend for The Sun Conference Outdoor Championships Hosted By IMG Academy
