LAKELAND,FLA –The Thomas University Men's Cross Country team battled through the rough 8K SUN Conference Cross Country Championship course Saturday morning. Due to inclement weather the previous day, the conditions of the course were rough but that didn't stop the Night Hawks from showing heart and mental toughness. Senior Kadeem Webb led the way for Thomas taking 18th place with a time of 28:36.46. Sophomore Justin Tominson finished in 24th place with a time of 28:59.79. Freshman Elias Lopez-Gomez finished in 45th place with a time of 31:17.98. Sophomore Keyon Joyce finished in 46th with a new personal time of 31:27.30. Freshman Javon Dickerson finished in 56th place with a time of 32:47.95. Freshman Jackson Schofill finished in 60th place with a time of 33:23.62. Freshman Joshwa Copeland finished in 66th place with a time of 34:26.47.
Thomas finished the race taking 5th overall as a team.
