DANVILLE, Ala. - The Thomas University Men's and Women's Cross Country teams competed at the SSAC Championship at Oakville Indian Mounds Park on Friday Morning.
The men began with an 8K to start the day.
Landon Watts was the top finisher for the Night Hawks as he finished 29th with a time of 28:00.9 with a pace of 5:38, ending a spectacular year for the junior.
Caden Godwin came in 56th, finishing the race with a time of 30:17.
Timothy Tulloch completed the race in 65th, his time being 06:41,
Nelson Lopez ran 68th with a time of 07:04 and finally
Andrea Craft finished 74th, and his time was 08:47.
The women were next up competing in an 6K race,
Victoria Richards had the best finish for Thomas with a 32nd place result, finishing with a time of 26:07.4 and a pace of 07:00.4. Her sister
Cassandra Richards finished 40th with a time of 26:29.1, her pace was 07:06.2.
Riley Rutledge finished three spots behind Richards, coming in 43rd, her time was 27:15.2 with a personal season best pace of 07:18.5. Other finishers for the Night Hawks were
Maggie Colgan who finished 69th and
Lucia Roca Rodado in 72nd.
