Night Hawks compete at the FSU Invitational

TALLAHASSEE, Fla- After several weeks since their first race, the Night Hawks were back in action on Friday morning at the FSU Invitational hosted by Florida State University, held at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida. 

The men started out the morning strong, with Landon Watts finishing 91st out of 121 runners, finishing with a time of 28:59 with a pace of 5:49. Caden Godwin's time of 30:53 earned him 105th, Timothy Tulloch, Nelson Lopez and Kiernan Ganske did not finish, but held strong against the field.

The women kept the momentum going with Cassandra Richards placing 113th out of 162 runners, she had a time of 21:48 with a pace of 7:01, her sister Victoria Richards, came in 135th with a time of 23:18 and Riley Rutledge finished with a time of 25:38, giving her 152nd place.

The performances of Watts, Godwin, the Richards sisters and Rutledge stand out in a field featuring several NCAA Division I schools. 

The Night Hawks hit the trail again in Lakeland, Florida for the Ed Holloway Invitational.
