Thomasville, GA | The Men and Women Cross Country team will compete in their first ever Southern States Athletic Conference Cross-Country Championships, this Saturday, November 4.
Six Men and six Women student-athletes will be competing and representing the Night Hawks. The race will be ran at Oakville Indian Mounds Park in Danville, AL. One of Danville's claim to fame is that legendary runner, and U.S. Olympian, Jesse Owens was born on a tennant farm there. The Women will begin at 9:30 a.m. ET and the Men will start at 10:30 am ET.
Competing on the Night Hawks Women SC Team will be
Sophia Alexander,
Jennifer Coleman,
Maggie Colgan,
Cassandra Richards,
Victoria Richards, and
Annabelle Wade. Competing for the Men will be
Kasahn Rivers, JT Thompson,
Justin Tomison,
Emmanuel Tovar -Negrete,
Timothy Tulloch, and
Landon Watts. Tomison qualified for last season's NAIA National XC Meet. He is the Thomas University record holder in cross-country and has earned all-conference honors.
