LAKELAND, FLA. –The Thomas University Men's Cross Country team executed a plan that prevailed against several SUN conference opponents Friday morning at the Hoka Invitational. The Night Hawks battled their way through a complicated 8K course which helped seek two top 20 finishers. Sophomore Justin Tomison made the all-invitational team as he placed in 12th place with a time of (27:57.89). Graduate Kadeem Webb also made the all-invitational team as he finished in 14th place with a (27:58.92) time. Freshman Elias Lopez-Gomez finished in 48th place with a time of (31:23.11). Sophomore Keyon Joyce finished behind the Cairo, GA native taking 51st place with a time of (32:23.62). Freshman Jackson Schofill finished 54th with a time of (32:45.40).
Thomas finished the race taking fifth overall as a team.
