The Thomas Night Hawks will take on the Ottawa Braves at 10:30 AM, inside the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.  The game will serve as the the semifinal matchup of this year's NAIA Flag Football National Tournament.  This will be the third time that these two teams have faced each other, in their short lived history.  

These two teams have never faced each other on their own campuses.  Last season, Thomas defeated Ottawa in the regular season 19-7, in a neutral site game in Babson Park, FL, by a score of 19-7.  Ottawa defeated Thomas 24-20 in the National Championship Game last year at the same venue, the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, in Atlanta, GA.

Both teams come into this game undefeated in the 2023 tournament.  On Thursday, Ottawa defated Midland, 34-6 and beat Keiser, 21-12.  Thomas held both of their opponents scoreless on the first day of the tournament, winning 28-0 over Warner and 19-0 over St. Thomas.

The Thomas offense has accumulated over 300 yards passing in their two tournament games, thus far.  The Night Hawks defense has soared above its opponents, totaling eight interceptions in two games.

Should Thomas win Friday morning, the Night Hawks will play in the title game at 2:30 PM on Saturday.  If the Night Hawks lose, they will have to play in an elimination bracket game at 9AM on Saturday, to earn an opportunity to play in the championship game.  Should Thomas enter Saturday's game undefeated, they will have to win one of two of the championship games to earn the title.  If the Night Hawks were to enter the championship game with a loss in the tournament, they will need to secure a total of three victories on Saturday to claim the crown.
