TAMPA, Fla. — A pair of Thomas University Night Hawks have been recognized on the 2026 Sun Conference Flag Football All-Conference teams following a strong season for the program.
Linebacker/defensive back Destiny Lockett earned Second Team All-Conference honors, while defensive utility player Dyva Jones also claimed a Second Team selection. The two were among the anchors of a Thomas defense that recorded 32 interceptions and 465 total tackles on the season.
Lockett was one of the most complete players in the conference, playing both ways for the Night Hawks. On offense, she led the team with 436 rushing yards and 2,059 passing yards on a 58.7 completion percentage, accounting for 30 touchdown passes and 12 rushing touchdowns. Defensively, she ranked second on the team with 84 pulls, added six interceptions for 72 return yards — including two pick-sixes — and recorded two sacks. She finished the season with 2,495 yards of total offense, averaging 178.2 yards per game.
Jones was equally versatile and productive. She led the team's receiving corps with 56 catches for 766 yards and 10 touchdowns, averaging 47.9 receiving yards per game. On defense, Jones recorded 63 pulls, a team-high 10.0 pulls for loss, six interceptions, and six sacks. Her 863 all-purpose yards ranked second on the squad.
Thomas finished the 2026 regular season with an overall record of 10-6, including a 5-4 mark in conference play, and averaged 25.7 points per game on offense while holding opponents to 14.6 points per game.
