KANSAS CITY, Mo. | The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Men's Soccer Scholar-Athletes on this past Friday. Thomas placed 12 student-athletes on the team. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
As a program, Thomas currently ranks tied for second place in the Southern States Athletic Conference in Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes, with 27. Within the conference, Thomas is tied with Blue Mountain Christian and William Carey. The Trio trails Mobile, who has 30.
