THOMASVILLE, Ga. — The Thomas University women's soccer team is set to host Edward Waters University on Sunday, September 11th at 2 PM.
The Night Hawks (3-1-1) will host the Lady Tigers nearly a week removed from action, after besting Wesleyan College on Monday 8-0.
TU will host the struggling Lady Tigers on a hot streak, outscoring the team's last three opponents 18-2. The run has been fueled by a flurry of goals by Analeice Wilkes (5), Elsebeth la Cour Anderson (3) and Dalaney Hanneken (3). Additional multi-goal scorers on the run include Ali Baca (2) and Hannah Keene (2). The impressive run has propelled the Night Hawks to first in goals per game average in the SUN Conference.
The DII Lady Tigers have had an up and down season thus far, with a 2-1 win over DIII Lagrange College, but losses to fellow DII opponents St. Leo and West Alabama.
Last time the two teams met Thomas won 6-1 in March of 2021. TU seniors Yunuen Medina and Jana Pastorek combined for three goals in that contest.
