THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University women's soccer team will open the 2022 season with a familiar foe Saturday afternoon, traveling to RV Middle Georgia for non-conference action.

The Night Hawks spent the past month preparing for the season, with both preseason training and scrimmages against tough regional opponents. In preparation for its season opener, the Green & White returns fifteen players from last years 2021 squad. 

Thomas will look to improve off last season's 17 total games that produced a 26-goal, 81-point season.  Senior Jana Pastorek is TU's returning scoring leader, notching eight goals and six assists in the Fall of 2021.

RV MGA (1-0) will be looking for its second win of the 2022 season after the Knights picked up a 2-0 win on Thursday against Ave Maria.  The Knights were able to fire off 13 shots in the team's season opener, converting two in the first half en route to the win.
