THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University Women's soccer team will complete its non-conference slate Saturday, as the Night Hawks host the Florida College Falcons.
TU (4-3) will have an opportunity to recreate the many chances the team had in Wednesday's win over Albany State, facing a Florida College (0-6) squad that allows an average of 34 shots a contest, one of the highest marks in NAIA this season. The Night Hawks come off a contest in which nine different players registered shots, with three recording four shots or more.
Juniors
Analeice Wilkes and
Jana Pastorek account for seven of TU's ten goals this season, entering Saturday's contest with two game-winning goals apiece.
FC heads to the Rose City scoring only twice this season, with both goals coming from Michaela Nicholson. In net, Victoria Fullager has averaged 5.89 goals allowed, recording over 13 saves a match.
Saturday's contest will be the second overall meeting between the Night Hawks and the Falcons, with TU winning the first game 4-1 earlier this spring.
Kickoff at TU Soccer Complex is scheduled for 3 p.m., but will commence following the conclusion of the Men's soccer contest against #7 St. Thomas. Fans can access live coverage of the match by following the links below:
