Night Hawks Set to Host Defending NAIA National Champs

THOMASVILLE, Ga. – After an eternity of anticipation, the Thomas University Women's football club will soon embark on its 2021 voyage.  The Night Hawks open their campaign Sunday, hosting the defending NAIA Nationals Champions and The Sun Conference Finalists Keiser University.
 
TU returns lead scorers in Sophomore Forwards Analeice Wilkes and Jana Pastorek, both scoring 10 goals apiece. 
 
The Night Hawks finished 2019 averaging three goals a game, a Top 25 mark in NAIA at the time.  The Hunter Green & White also averaged over 16 shots per game, in which 47% were shots on goal.
 
Keiser (12-1-1) comes off a 5-0 blowout win over Faulkner too start its Spring opener.  The Seahawks have been prominent on the attack, averaging 4.64 goals in 2020-21.  Defensively, KU has been equally strong, allowing only 10 goals this season. 
 
Seahawks' Alicia Drott currently leads Keiser in Goals Scored (11) and Points (29) while Maja Henriksson has nine assists.
 
Keiser currently leads the overall series against Thomas 9 games to 1.
