WEST POINT, Ga. - Katy Hanscomb's seventh career goal spurred Thomas to a 1-1 tie with Truett McConnell (Ga.) after two overtimes Thursday evening at River Bowl Stadium on the first day of the Jenna Paige Bragg Memorial Classic, hosted by Point (Ga.). The Night Hawks end a five-match losing streak in neutral site matches.

Following a Truett McConnell (0-0-1) score in the eighth minute by Susanna Peppers, Hanscomb (1) found the back of the net in the 24th minute for Thomas (1-0-1) when she beat Bear netminder Ashlyn Walloch to tie the match.

Olivia Taylor totaled a team-high four shots for the Night Hawks, while Hanscomb had three. Taylor, Hanscomb, Ciera McGriff-Duncan, Whitley Anderson, Kaleigh Premo and Kayla Folse each had one shot on goal.

Peppers and Megan McCall each had three shots on goal.

Thomas goalkeeper Kara Houston (1-0-1) recorded a career-high 12 saves, playing the entire match.

Walloch (0-0-1), who went the distance, came up with five stops.

The Night Hawks face Point on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m. ET.
