THE NIGHT HAWKS
Thomas University (1-4-0) comes off a decisive 5-2 victory over Brenau University (Ga.) on Saturday in Gainesville, Ga. The Night Hawks handed Brenau its first loss of the 2016 season.
 
Five different Night Hawks scored in the game led by Olivia Taylor's goal and three assists.
 
Taylor leads TU with two goals, three assists and seven points, while Kayla Folse is right behind her with two goals, two assists and six points.
 
THE CRUSADERS
William Carey (4-2-0) knocked off No. 3 University of Northwestern Ohio, 3-2, on the road. The Crusaders netted the game winner in the 78th minute.
 
April Stewart powered the William Carey offense with two goals in the game, while Jamie Holifield produced a goal and two assists.
 
Stewart leads the team with four goals and ranks second in the country in total game winning goals (3), while Holifield dished four assists with two goals.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Crusaders, ranked ninth at the time, topped the Night Hawks 4-0 in Hattiesburg, Miss. on Aug. 22 last season in the last meeting between the two schools.
 
THE RAMS
The University of Mobile (3-2-1) suffered a 3-2 setback to No. 9 Keiser University (Fla.) on Saturday at home. Keiser scored the last three goals of the game in the last six minutes of the game.
 
Cayla Hebery and Nikole Cruz netted the goals for the Crusaders with Cruz providing an assists on the first goal.
 
Hebert scored five goals with two assists in six games this season, while Colleen Kennedy has produced four assists this year.
 
LAST TIME OUT
In the 2015 season opener, the 10th-ranked Rams came out with a 2-0 victory in Mobile, Ala. in the last matchup.
