THE NIGHT HAWKS
Thomas University (4-7-0, 3-1-0 The Sun Conference) won back-to-back games for the first time the season with a 3-1 win over Webber International (Fla.) and a 2-0 victory over Warner (Fla.).
 
Linnea Roivas led the Night Hawks with both goals against Warner, while Luciane Wentz and Ciera McGriff-Duncan produced assists.
 
Kayla Folse leads TU with four goals this year, while Olivia Taylor's seven assists is the team best.
 
THE GYRENES
Ave Maria (3-6, 1-3 TSC) topped St. Thomas, 2-1, on Monday on the road. The Gyrenes netted the game winning goal with 25 seconds left in the game.
 
Sarah McBride scored both goals for Ave in the game. She recorded the first goal in the 58th minute and the game winner in the 89th minute.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Night Hawks knocked off the Gyrenes, 3-0, at the TU Soccer Complex on Oct. 15 last season.
 
THE FIRE
Southeastern (8-1-0, 2-1-0 TSC) shutout Johnson and Wales (Fla.), 3-0, on Oct. 1 at home. The Fire had three different players find the back of the net and outshot Johnson and Wales 16-1 in the game.
 
Soraya Martinez netted the game winner in the 21st minute, while Bania Duran scored the last goal 48 seconds into the second half.
 
Alyssa Kaminski leads the Fire with nine goals in nine games this season, while Rebecca Reynolds tops the team with five assists. Southeastern's goalie Sydni Brookhouser ranks fifth in the country with a 0.4 goals against average.
LAST TIME OUT
The Night Hawks knocked off the Fire, 4-2, at the TU Soccer Complex on Oct. 17 last season.
 
UP NEXT
TU remains on the road for a 2:00 p.m. matchup with the University of South Carolina Beaufort in Bluffton, S.C.
