Box Score Thomas University's Women's Soccer (4-4) (TSC 1-0) team recorded their first conference win in their opening conference match against St. Thomas University (4-3-1) (TSC 0-1), 2-1.
The Bobcats opened the match scoring within just five and a half minutes against TU's defense, giving them the 1-0 lead that they held for nearly 80 minutes of the match. STU was able to hold Thomas scoreless throughout the first half of the match.

rd minute from an assist off the foot of Junior
Alyssa Denton, deadlocking the game at 1 and sending it into OT. Senior
Jenny Hernandez secured the victory for Thomas with one minute and thirty seconds left in OT after drilling in an intercepted pass.
"We stuck it out and never gave up and for that, I'm proud of the team. It's definitely a confidence boost to open up the conference with a win. Now we are setting our sights on the next match as we go to play Florida Memorial," said TU Head Women's Soccer Coach,
Julie Orlowski.
