Box Score No. 18 Thomas University (4-0-1) (TSC 0-0) continues their dominance as they knock off #22 Bethel University (2-4) 4-3 in a vigorously played match.
The Wildcats would open the game scoring a goal in 16
th minute, providing Bethel with the 1-0 lead over TU. Thomas would respond with a goal of their own off the foot of Freshman
Jonathon McGrath (1G) as he played the assist of Junior
Lyle Gifford (3A) just 60 seconds after the Wildcat goal, knotting the game at 1-1. Sophomore
Severin Abt (2G) would continue to prevail this weekend as he blasted a goal at the 30
th minute from Gifford's feeding of the ball, TU would lead 2-1 as they entered halftime.
Bethel University would deadlock the game at 2, as they scored just five minutes into the second half. The Night Hawks were fully prepared as Abt would yet again drive home another goal off the boot of Junior
Patrick Ramdial (1A) as he delivered an assist, giving TU the 3-2 lead. BU would answer back, scoring yet another goal in the 82
nd minute, binding the match at 3. With just six-minutes left in regulation, Sophomore
Eric Persson (1G) netted TU's fourth goal on the day on yet another assist by Gifford.
Thomas remains a daunting opponent as they have remained unbeaten for their 9
th straight match since October of 2013. TU has extended their winning streak to 9 games against top ranked opponents on their home turf. Defeating Martin Methodist College and Bethel University, the Night Hawks lengthen their record to 10-2-1 against the Southern States Conference.

The Night Hawks return to action as they travel to Georgia Southwestern on September 17
th for a 5:00 P.M. kick-off.
