Women's Soccer Falls to Brenau University 3-0

Box Score Women's Soccer (0-2) (TSC 0-0) falls to Brenau University (1-1-1) 3-0 as they complete their opening weekend in Gainesville, Ga.

The Lady Night Hawks got off to a tough start early on in the night as Brenau netted three goals in the first half of the game.  TU was not able to defend Brenau in the first half of the game.

After the first half, Thomas came out strong and with new strategy.  The Lady Night Hawks were able to shut out the Golden Tigers keeping them scoreless during the second half. Senior Emily Ingram showed leadership as she stepped up and helped lead the Defense to a better second 45 minutes.

"Our girls showed that they are capable of fighting this weekend," Said Head TU Women's Soccer Coach, Julie Orlowski.  "We saw many great things, as well as we saw some things that we need to work on."

Thomas will be back in action Wednesday, September 3rd at 4pm as they take Oklahoma Baptist at Wendy's Soccer Complex in Thomasville, Ga.
