Eric Persson has been named the Student-Athlete of the week for September 7-13, 2015.

The men’s soccer team has started the season off 5-0 and Persson has been an integral reason for their success.  Persson scored the Night Hawks’ lone goal in their 1-0 victory over former Sun Conference foe Embry-Riddle this past weekend in Daytona Beach, Fla.  So far this season, the Gothenburg, Sweden, native has netted two goals and four points and has a .250 goal-to-shot ratio.  Persson’s two goals this season have both been game winning goals that place him ninth overall in the NAIA in that category.
