Freshman Amanda Ortiz has been named the Student-Athlete of the week for April 13-19, 2015.

Ortiz had a dominate week against Gordon State and South Georgia State in her four games of work.  The Oviedo, Fla., native went 8-for-12 at the plate and scored five times.  The right-hander picked up two doubles and a homerun while driving in five runs. 

Amanda is a biology major.
