Junior Madison Osterlund has been named the Student-Athlete of the week for February 2-8, 2015.
Osterlund has been a dominant force for the Lady Night Hawk swimming team this season. This past weekend, the Tallahassee, Fla., native competed in the five events at the University of West Florida and Delta State University Duals in Pensacola, Fla. The junior finished fifth in the 100 yard butterfly (1:03.49), seventh in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:13.48), and eighth in the 100 yard freestyle (58.51). As a member of the relay teams, Osterlund swam the third leg of both the 200 IM relay and 200 yard freestyle relay. The teams finished seventh and sixth, respectively.
Madison is a biology major.
