TIFTON, Ga. – Thomas University suffered a setback in a mid-week tilt against RV Abraham Baldwin.
Abraham Baldwin opened up the scoring after Cashin Cash hit a 2-RBI homerun in the bottom of the first. The Stallions added a run in the bottom of the second and four runs in the bottom of the third and a single run in the bottom of the fifth.
Thomas broke the shut out in the top of the eighth inning.
Jackson Thomas reached on a walk. then
Lucas Dufresne followed with a walk of his own.
Seth Waltimyer hit a single to load the bases.
Elias Garcia reached on a fielder's choice but managed an RBI from his efforts to bring the score up 8-1 Stallion advantage.
In total the Night Hawks had eight different pitchers in action during the game. Thomas looks to bounce back in a weekend series against Warner University first pitch is set for 5:00 PM EST on Friday, February 13th.
