Night Hawks tame Tigers

THOMASVILLE, Ga. – Thomas took on NCAA Division II opponent Edward Waters Tigers in a midweek bout on Tuesday night at Varnedoe Stadium.

The bats for both teams were cold as both teams went three up and three down for the first two innings, then in the third, Edward waters got a man on third with one out and brought him home on a sacrifice bunt, putting the Night Hawks down one. In the bottom of the fourth, four straight walks by the Tigers brought a run home for Thomas to tie the game. Then Riley Borgert sent one into the woods for a grand slam to break the game open.
