GULF SHORES, AL | Night Hawks attended a Monday / Tuesday meet with 11 other competing teams and they were impressive going into their last week of the regular season.
In the field,
Tyrese Henderson had an impressive triple jump with a mark of 13.72m. This jump gave him a top finish at 2nd place. Right behind him was
Ethan Fralish with a mark of 12.99m. Giving him a 4th place finish. Fralish also had a marked jump of 6.81m in the long jump giving him a firm 6th place finish and a total of 8 points for his team.
For the women, in the 400m hurdles
Sophia Alexander got a 4th place finish with a time of 1:11.43.
Cassandra Richards had an impressive time in the 5000M which was 19:16.11 and a solid 2nd place finish. Richards also ran the women's 10000M with a time of 42:45.09 and a final place finish of 4th. Richards was able to gain 13 points for her team in these two events.
Michael Eady had a phenomenal meet. Eady racked up 15 points for his team on the track. Eady ran the 100m with a time of 10.38 and a 4th place finish. Eady had reigned victorious on the 200m dash with a first place finish and a time of 21.14.
Kyron Belton was right behind Eady on the 100m dash with a time of 10.42 with a 6th place finish. Belton also ran the 200m with a time of 21.71.
Justin Tomison dominated in the long distance events. With a 6th place finish in the 5000M. Tomison also had an impressive time of 32:44.74 in the 10000M and a 2nd place finish.
The men's 4x400 team had a 3rd place finish with a time of 3:32.86. The contributors of this time were
Kasahn Rivers, Michael Eady, Kyron Belton, and
Timothy Tulloch.
