Box Score THOMASVILLE, GA | After a tough loss to Warner University away last week, the Night Hakws were determined to take a win against Florida Gateway College Saturday afternoon. Night Hawks approached the goal line fairly early in the first quarter, but with penalties and missed opportunities, the Night Hawks turned the ball over on downs, in the red zone, and the first quarter ended with a score of 0-0. As the second quarter rolled around, sophomore
Alexa Wilson was able to punch it in to junior Kierra Knight for the Night Hawks first touchdown at home for the '24 season.
Ameari Logan caught the extra point. Going into the half, the score was 0-7.
During the opening drive of the second half, the Night Hawks marched the ball down the field, and consumed most of the 3rd quarter.

Nakerra Brown on a slant route in the back of the end zone. The extra point was missed, leaving the Night Hawks to lead, 13-0.
Florida Gateway College had an impressive drive, an their next possession, against the Night Hawks defense. With a touchdown and an extra point, the score was now 13-7. However, on the ensuing drive after the Timberwolves touchdown,
Alexa Wilson connected with Kierra Knight on an out route. The Timberwolves could not get the tackle, and Knight raced 50 yards to gain her 2nd touchdown of the game. The score was now 19-7. The Night Hawks defense held the Timberwolves short of scoring again.
