GAINESVILLE, FL | The Night Hawks traveled down I-75 on Friday, to Gainesville, FL for one final tuneup, before the SSAC Track Meet, and participated in the University of Florida Last Chance Indoor Meet. The meet featues team from the NAIA and NCAA, various track clubs, and individual (unattached) participants. Several Night Hawks were able to fine-tune their craft on the day.
MEN
Michael Eady was able to set a school record during the prelims, in the 60m dash, with a time of 6.87. In the finals, Eady placed 6th with a time of 6.93.
Kyron Belton finished 5th in the same event, with a time of 6.90. JT Thompson set a school record in the 400m dash at 49.45, good enough for a 4th place finish.

Michael Eady, and
Kyron Belton placed 4th with a time of 3:24.46, with all four participants running a 51.2 split, or less. In the triple jump,
Ethan Fralish placed 8th with a jump of 13.27m (43' 6.5").
WOMEN
Sophia Alexander set a school record in the 400m dash at 1:05.64.
Cassandra Richards set the school record, in the mile run at 5:47.28.
UP NEXT
Thomas will travel back to the same facility on February 16-17, for the SSAC Indoor Track & Field Championships.
