Thomas Releases Flag Football Schedule

Seeking 3-Peat in The Sun Conference

THOMASVILLE, GA |  The Thomas Night Hawks Flag Football Team has released their schedule for the 2024 season.  The 15-game schedule will feature five home games, an invitational, and a showcase, this season.

The Night Hawks will begin their quest for a 3-peat, in The Sun Conference, on Thursday, February 15 with a conference match-up.  The Night Hawks will travel to face Webber International.  The Night Hawks have never lost to the Warriors, in seven meetings, last defeating them, 33-14, in last season's Sun Conference Tournament.  The next evening, the Night Hawks will travel to take on Warner.  Thomas is 6-0, all-time, against the Royals, shutting their opponent out three times in 2023.

The Night Hawks will open their home slate, in a non-conference game, versus Florida Gateway College, on February 24.  Thomas defeated Florida Gateway, 39-0 last season.  Thomas hit the road for the Reinhardt Invitational on March 15 - March 16, where they will face three opponents, to be determined.  

The Night Hawks return to conference action on March 23, as they travel to West Palm Beach, FL to face Keiser.  The two teams battled three time in 2023, with the Seahawks never scoring more than one touchdown, as Thomas victorious in each contest.  Reinhardt will make their first-ever trip to the Rose City on March 28.  The two teams squared off last season, in Campbellsville, KY, with the Night Hawks winning 39-0.  One day later, Point University will take on Thomas for the first time, ever, with the game held as the TU Soccer Complex.  Point and Reinhardt are new members of The Sun Conference, for flag football, with the program at Point being in their first season.

The Night Hawks will step outside of conference play and travel to Campbellsville, KY on April 5-6.  The Night Hawks challenge to host Campbellsville and Milligan on April 5.  Bryant & Stratton will be the opponent on April 6.  

The Night Hawks will conclude the regular season with conference action.  St. Thomas will visit the TU Soccer Complex on April 12.  St. Thomas is the only team to defeat Thomas in conference play in the Night Hawks Flag Football Team's two season of existence.  Both of the Bobcats victories occurred in Miami Gardens, FL.  The other team from Miami Gardens, Florida Memorial, will visit the Rose City, one day later.  The Night Hawks conclude the regular season by travelling to Marietta, GA, to face a new program, Life University, on April 18.

The Sun Conference Championships will occur April 25-27, at the site of the highest seed.  The Night Hawks will ultimate goal is to return to Atlanta, and finish the job in 2024.  The NAIA Invitational will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, May 8-10.
