Gainesville, FL | The Night Hawks took charge at the Alachua County Collegiate Invitational this past weekend Jan 26-27th. The Night Hawks were able to secure four school records and a personal best.
The sprinters for the Night Hawks had a great meet. In the 300m dash Leonard Thompson had become the new school record holder with a time of 35.62. With Kasahn Rivers right behind him with a time of 35.65. Michael Eady had also ran an impressive time in the 300m dash with a time of 36.29. Kyron Belton ran a 22.63 for the 200m dash and placed 13th overall out of 69 other competitors.
In the men's mile run Justin Tomison had made a new personal best with a time of 4:32.65. Tomison was having a phenomenal weekend and ended up getting the school record with a time of 8:53.80 in the 3000M run.
For the women Sophia Alexander is now an official school record holder for the 600M with a time of 1:49.05. Cassandra Richards also showed up and showed out. She ran the 5000M and set the new school record with a time of 20:25.43.
