THOMASVILLE,GA – Thomas University Men's and Women's Cross Country 2023 schedule was officially released Wednesday morning. This year's slate features a different Conference Championship fate.
The Night Hawks will begin their season in familiar fairgrounds at the annual VSU Border Clash on September 1st hosted by Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia. All course activities will take place at Freedom Park.
TU will then see a large break in action for a few weeks as they prepare for the Southern Showcase hosted by Jacksonville University on September 15th in Huntsville, Alabama. Race activities will take place at John Hunt Park.
On September 29th, the Night Hawks will once again head to familiar territory for the FSU Invitational hosted by Florida State University. Additionally, Apalachee Regional Park is known for its historic course after hosting the 2022 NAIA Cross Country Championship and several other worldwide races.
The Green and White will have enough time to rest and recover for their next race on October 13th for the Watson XC Classic hosted by Mississippi College. This will be the first time that the Night Hawks will travel to Clinton, MS to race on Choctaw Trails.
On November 4th, Thomas will travel to Danville, Alabama for their first-ever SSAC Championship. The Championship course will be at Oakville Indian Mounds Park.
TU will then wrap up their season on November 17th in Vancouver, Washington for the NAIA XC National Championship. The festivities will take place in Fort Vancouver.
