The Sun Conference has named its 2023 Softball All-Academic Team sponsored by Barnes & Noble College on Tuesday afternoon. The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Softball Scholar-Athletes on Wednesday.
St. Thomas led the way with the most honorees with 13. Coastal Georgia and Thomas tied with the second most at 10. Southeastern had nine honorees listed, Ave Maria followed with seven and Florida Memorial tallied five. Keiser and Warner each had two recipients.
Qualifications for the honor are:
1. The student must have been enrolled for two full semesters or more
2. The student must have a cumulative of at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale.
