The First Of Many: Shipp Breaks School Record

THOMASVILLE, GA-  The Thomas University Women's Swim team had a successful day after one Night Hawk was able to notch a new school record.

HIGHLIGHTS: Freshman Aspen Shipp notched a new school record in the 200 Freestyle. Freshman Lucía Roca Rodado took a first place finish in the 1000 Yard Freestyle with a time of 11:42.51. Aspen Shipp also competed in the 50 Yard Freestyle taking a first place finish with a time 24.82, which marks a new school record. The Opelousas, La native also competed in the 200 Yard Freestyle taking a first place finish with a time of 2:14.60. Lucia Roca took first place in the 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 59.13. The Palma De Mallorca, Spain concluded her day in the Women 200 Yard Backstroke taking a second place finish with a time of 1:45.03.


WHAT'S NEXT: The Night Hawks will be back in action on October 29th for their next home meet.
