Our goal for next year is to qualify and send even more swimmers to nationals."

Mataro described the experience simply, saying, "Feels good to perform with the best swimmers in the league."

Discussing her overall nationals performance, Anna said, "I went into nationals without many expectations because it had been a challenging season for me. My goal was mainly to enjoy the experience and be grateful that I had the chance to compete with the best in the nation. I'm really happy with how it turned out: earning All‑American, and making a B‑final in the 400 IM and swimming a personal best meant a lot after a tough season." Reflecting on her All‑American finish, she added, "Earning All‑American in the mile with a season best was very special and totally unexpected to me. It showed me that courage, patience, trust, and perseverance can pay off, even when the season doesn't go exactly as planned. I'm very grateful for the support of my family, my teammates, and coach Wyatt, who all played a big role in this achievement."
