THOMASVILLE, GA- Thomas University's Head Coach Scott Hutchinson officially released the men's and women's 2021 XC schedule announced Saturday.
After an unprecedented year of COVID-19, the Night Hawks will return to its normal seven-meet regular season, followed by The Sun Conference XC Championships with the opportunity to qualify for NAIA Nationals.
The season will begin Saturday, August 28th at Tallahassee Community College in Tallahassee, Florida. The Night Hawks return a week later down memory lane on September 3rd at the Valdosta State XC invite in Valdosta, Georgia, their first meet during their inaugural season in 2019.
On September 17th, Thomas will travel to Lake City, Florida for the Alligator Lake XC Invite. Last year the Night Hawks were able to pull off three top-five finishes. One week later, on September 24th, the Night Hawks will take their talents to the Argonaut Invite, hosted by The University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida. On October 1st, Thomas will run in the Fl.Runners.com invite in Lakeland, Florida. The Night Hawks will rest up for two weeks before heading to one of the biggest meets in the Florida's capital on October 15th, where Florida State University will host the FSU XC invite. This will be the NightHawks' second time competing in this race, followed by October 23rd's season finale meet at St. Thomas University for the St.Thomas XC Invite in Miramar, Florida. This year's Sun Conference XC Championships will be held in Lakeland, Fla. on November 6th.
