THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University baseball team returns to the nationally-ranked portion of the team's schedule, as the Night Hawks host #7 Faulkner University in a non-conference, three-game series this weekend.
The Hunter Green & White (2-6, 0-3 TSC) heads into the weekend with momentum, coming off a doubleheader sweep of Trinity Baptist College Wednesday. Freshman Pitcher
Bobby Jacobs (1-0) saw his first intercollegiate start, giving up five hits with no earned runs in five innings pitched.

Rodwell Munoz leads the team in batting average (.385), Redshirt Junior
Victor Terrero has had a great start to the 2021 season, hitting .353 on the year, featuring two home runs with four RBIs and an .889 slugging percentage.
#7 Faulkner (5-0) comes off a sweep of Indiana Wesleyan, in which the Eagles won two of those contests by one run. While FLK may bat .255 as a team, the Blue, Black & White's efficiency makes an impact, from average RBIs a game (6.2) to base running (3.2 stolen bases per game). The pitching staff is equally as effective, allowing just over six hits a game with a 1.80 Earned Run Average. July Sosa is the primary pitcher in the Eagles' rotation, boasting a 1.64 ERA and allowing seven hits in 11 innings.
The Night Hawks will be watching out for Faulkner's Tommy Reyes-Cruz, the RBI leader of the team with seven. In the primary batting lineup, Justin Lara is another player to watch, hitting .333 with one RBI and three stolen bases.
