Box Score HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Thomas University women's soccer team fell, 3-1, to No. 15 University of Mobile Thursday night at Crusader Field.
"The game did not start out the way we would like, but I was impressed with the way we gathered ourselves and got our composure back," said Head Coach
Julie Orlowski. "It was a great match today between two good teams. Iron sharpens iron. This match should make us a better team."
After falling behind 3-0, sophomore
Jonna Wittwer scored TU's lone goal, with 10 minutes left in the match.
Jahzyiah Samuels-Williams dug the ball out at the top of the box, and found
Hadas Prawer centrally, who quickly passed to Wittwer, who ripped the ball to the far post.
"In the end, both teams had great looks at goal," added Orlowski. "Mobile finished their chances and we only finished one of ours."
