Box Score JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Thomas University baseball team hit three home runs in the 15-5 eight-inning loss to Edward Waters College Friday afternoon at James P. Small Memorial Park. 

Raines Plant tagged a three-run homer and Jake Bryan and Landon Boyette each sent solo shots over the wall for TU. 

Keefer Beaty was 2-for-4 in the game and Jake Webb and Chase Hinson each recorded a double for the Night Hawks. 

Thomas struck first with four runs in the top of the second, but EWU plated five runs in the bottom of the third to take the lead. TU tied the game in the fifth, but Edward Waters added a run in each of the next three innings to take the 8-5 edge. In the bottom of the eighth, EWU recorded seven more runs to end the game by 10-run rule. 

Thomas and Edward Waters will play a doubleheader Saturday with the first pitch at 1 p.m.
