POOLER, Ga. – Thomas University finished fifth in the Sun Conference Women's Golf Championship Tournament held this week at the Savannah Quarters Country Club. 

TU held onto fifth place after each of the three rounds, recording a 359-373-366 – 1098. SCAD-Savannah won the event with a 307-304-300 – 911. 

Genevieve Courtney carded an 80 on the final day to tie for 16th with her 75-87-80 – 242. Laura Alexander placed 28th, posting a 96-90-91 – 277. 

In the final round, Angela Rivera posted her best round of the event, an 89, after rounds of 98 and 95 on the first two days. She placed 29th while Laura Mican finished 33rd with her score 90-101-106 – 297.
