ABOUT THOMAS
The Night Hawks are coming off a 71-58 win at Selma (Ala.) on Tuesday in non-conference action. The Green and White defeated the Bulldogs for a second time this season.

Samantha Gilbert each tallied 14 points for Thomas.Â
Jewel Montisano came up with 10 points. Allen and Montisano were each 4-of-6 from the floor. Allen was 6-of-9 from the free throw line, while Montisano was 2-of-4 from deep. Gilbert was 5-of-8 shooting off the bench, including 3-of-6 from 3-point range.
Arianna Anderson provided nine points and seven boards in the triumph.Â
Dymon Brown chipped in eight points.
Thomas was 43.3 percent (26-of-60) from the field, made seven treys and hit 10-of-16 from the stripe. The Night Hawks held an edge on the glass, 42-33.
Selma shot just 39.6 percent (19-of-48) overall and 1-of-4 from downtown while missing 17 free throws (19-of-36).
The Night Hawks scored the first seven points as part of a 12-2 run to open the game following a steal by Anderson and layup by Allen. Thomas led 18-14 at the end of the first quarter.
The Green and White took a 31-26 upper hand into intermission courtesy of a Montisano steal and layup right before the half.
Montisano canned a 3 to open the third quarter and increase her team's lead to eight. The third quarter advantage swelled to as many as 11 after anÂ
Alisha Clayton steal and layup with 40 seconds on the clock. Thomas led 49-41 at the end of the period.
A D. Brown trey with 7:51 left increased Thomas' advantage to 14 points, 57-43, and the Bulldogs would get no closer than nine the rest of the way.
ABOUT COASTAL GEORGIA
The Mariners are coming off a 77-64 win at Middle Georgia State on Tuesday in non-conference action.
Brianna Gipson (19 points), Romny Felts (12) and Sydney Segroves (11) all reached double figures in scoring in the win.
Coastal Georgia came out hot, shooting 50 percent in both the first and second quarters en route to taking a commanding lead at halftime. Solid defense and a 14-0 run early in the first quarter quickly put the Mariners up 17-3 at the 5:03 mark. Coastal Georgia increased its lead in the second quarter, as Gipson's jumper with 30 seconds left in the half put Coastal Georgia up by 18 points, and the Mariners carried a 50-32 lead into halftime.
A 12-4 run to start the third quarter lifted the Mariners to their largest lead of the game. Gipson's jumper at 5:24 in the third quarter gave Coastal Georgia a 62-32 lead.
Middle Georgia State attempted to capitalize on the Mariners' turnovers in the final quarter, scoring nine points off Coastal Georgia's 10 miscues, in order to close the deficit. Coastal Georgia saw its lead dwindle to 11 late before securing the 13-point victory with two Kirondria Smith free throws with 34 seconds to go.
In addition to the trio in double-digit points, Taylor Harris and Solrun Gisladottir each tallied nine. Felts added nine rebounds to go with her 12 points.
The Mariners shot 41.2 percent (28-of-68) for the game.

De'Audra Copeland pulled down eight rebounds.
Garvin sank a jumper and gave her team a 12-11 lead after the first quarter.
Coastal Georgia went on a 7-0 run and held a 24-16 lead in the second quarter. The Night Hawks trailed 28-26 at the half.
The Mariners ended the third quarter on a 6-0 run and held a 46-44 lead at the end of the period.
Coastal Georgia went on a 14-2 run in the fourth quarter and jumped out to a 65-54 lead to pull away.
