DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Thomas finished ninth on the final day of the Lady Falcon Invitational, hosted by Daytona State (Fla.), at LPGA International. The Night Hawks finished with a two-day score of 720 (364-356) in the tournament, played on the Hills Course, a par-72, 6,214-yard layout.
Angela Rivera was the top finisher for the Night Hawks with a two-day score of 167 (85-82).
Genevieve Courtney totaled a 169 (82-87).
Laura Alexander improved her score by 11 strokes Sunday, finishing with a 191 (101-90).
Juliann Padgett shot seven-strokes better on Sunday, totaling a 201 (104-97).
Laura Mican recorded a 201 (96-105).
Daytona State, the two-time defending NJCAA national champion, won the tournament with a 606 (304-302). The Falcons' Jiwon Jeon placed first after the 36-hole event with a score of 145 (73-72).
Thomas takes part in the Innisbrook Invitational, hosted by USC Beaufort (S.C.), Oct. 2-3 at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in Palm Harbor, Fla. Shotgun start is set for 8:30 a.m. ET.
