THOMASVILLE, Ga. - Thomas finishes a three-game home stand in Sun Conference (TSC) action Saturday against Warner (Fla.). Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. ET.

ABOUT THOMAS

The Night Hawks are coming off a 67-58 loss to Saint Thomas (Fla.) on Dec. 2 inside TU Gymnasium in league play. 

Arianna Anderson tallied her fifth-career double-double with 12 points and a career-high 18 rebounds for the Night Hawks, but Saint Thomas turned 31 Thomas turnovers into 32 points.

Seven of Anderson's 18 boards came on the offensive end. Kriza Allen finished with 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting and three steals for Thomas. De'Audra Copeland added nine points on a 4-of-7 effort from the field plus seven boards. Samantha Gilbert had eight points. Dymon Brown dished out a career-high seven assists.

The Night Hawks shot 36.8 percent (25-of-68) from the field, 7-of-12 from the line and outscored the visitors 38-32 in the paint. The home team won the battle of the boards 58-40, including 24-16 on the offensive glass. The Night Hawks registered 22 fast break points.

In a back and forth affair that featured six ties and as many lead changes, an Alisha Clayton jumper gave Thomas a 45-44 edge with 7:35 left in the fourth quarter. However, the Bobcats countered with a 10-0 run, with eight points by Auguste, over the next 2:11 to seize control. 

ABOUT WARNER

The Royals are coming off a 70-56 exhibition loss at Florida Tech, a NCAA Division II school, on Tuesday.

I'munique Green finished with 26 points on 8-of-16 shooting, including 3-of-5 from deep, and a 7-of-9 effort from the line in the loss. Daijah Turner and Charisa Broadway each scored 11.

Warner ranks 13th in NAIA Division II in rebound defense (33.1), 19th in steals per game (11.8) and 22nd in free throw percentage (0.749).

Turner is 16th nationally in free throw percentage (0.872) and 44th in steals per game (2.5). Green is 48th in offensive rebounds per game (3.1).

LAST TIME OUT AGAINST THE ROYALS

Thomas lost at Warner, 57-51, on Feb. 16, 2017.

J'Nyiah Daniels led the Night Hawks with 13 points, while Anderson provided 12 points and seven rebounds. Daycia Bandy also pulled in seven rebounds.

Micah Garvin knocked down a jumper before Daniels converted two free throws that gave Thomas a 10-6 lead in the first quarter, its largest lead of the game. Kashari James ended the first period with a made jumper for Warner, but the Night Hawks led 13-11 after the first.

The Royals took a 23-19 lead in the second quarter. Bandy ended the first half with an and-one right before the buzzer, but Warner led 23-22 at the break.

Warner went on a 7-0 run in the third quarter and opened up a 33-24 lead. The Royals ended the third quarter ahead 42-29.

Warner pushed its lead to 47-29, its largest of the game, in the fourth quarter, but the Night Hawks went on an 11-0 run over a span of a minute and a half and cut the deficit to 50-45.

Anderson brought her team within four at 55-51 with 10 seconds remaining, but Thomas would get no closer.
