Round Two: Lineups | Pairings

VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Night Hawks' Genevieve Courtney and Laura Alexander each fired an 83 on the first day of the fourth annual TU Fall Invitational held at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club.

Courtney and Alexander are tied for 29th overall at 11-over after finishing play on the par-72, 5,984-yard course. Courtney fired level on the final five holes of the front nine, on hole 12 and on the final five holes of the back nine. Alexander shot an even par on holes three, six and nine on the front nine and on six-straight holes to begin the back nine.

"Off the tee, I was better at hitting the fairways and greens, so it was easier to get the pars," Alexander said in reference to her play on the back nine. "After I had a couple of pars in a row, the adrenaline started to kick in, so it made it a lot easier."

Thomas sits in 10th place after carding a 371. 

Dylaney Day finished Monday with a 100 for the Green and White and recorded a birdie on 13 and parred holes seven, 10, 12 and 17. Juliann Padgett, who shot even par on holes five, nine and 11, ended round one with a 105. 

No. 4 Cumberlands (Ky.) leads the field after a six-over 294. The Patriots' Kaitlyn Riley sits atop the leaderboard after carding a four-under 68.

Shotgun start for the second and final round of play is scheduled to begin Tuesday at 9 a.m. ET.
