PALM HARBOR, Fla. - Thomas sits in 11th place after the first day of the Innisbrook Invitational, hosted by No. 6 USC Beaufort (S.C.), on Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club's Island Course. The Green and White shot a two-round total of 730.

The Night Hawks finished round one in 12th place after carding a 372 on the par-72, 5,815-yard course but jumped one spot after playing 36 holes Monday. Coach Peter Ireland's squad improved by 14 strokes in round two, firing a 358. 

Genevieve Courtney, tied for 25th overall, was the lowest scorer for Thomas on Monday after recording a two-round score of 169 (86-83). Angela Rivera is tied for 30th with a 171 (87-84). Dylaney Day entered the clubhouse with a 193 (102-91). Laura Alexander totaled a 197 (97-100). Juliann Padgett recorded a 207 (104-103).

No. 1 SCAD Savannah (Ga.) leads all teams with a two-round score of 626 (317-309). Samantha Fuller of No. 12 Keiser (Fla.) sits a top the leaderboard with a 149 (73-73).

Shotgun start  for the final round of the tournament is set for Tuesday at 8 a.m. ET.
