For the second game in a row, TU Baseball (9-8, 6-1) picked up a walk-off win topping NAIA #25 Ave Maria University (12-8, 3-4), 4-3 in eleven innings, on Friday afternoon at Varnedoe Stadium, in the opener of a three game Sun Conference set.

Senior catcher Andrew Crane (3-6, RBI) drove in junior shortstop Jake Desuyo (2-5, R, SB, HBP) in the bottom of the eleventh to wrap up the Night Hawks sixth TSC win of the early going. TU led 3-0 after seven, Ave would get a run back in the eighth and score two in the ninth to send the affair into extra innings. Senior relief pitcher John Gainey (2-1) picked up the win out of the pen.

The series concludes tomorrow with a double header beginning at 12 p.m.
